What are the benefits of a perpetual program? • Convenience • With the majority of swimmers continuing to swim over the holiday period it will mean you do not have to worry about opting in. • There is no need to worry about signing up for holiday blocks, you will automatically be booked in.
What are the benefits of a direct debit system? • An ongoing agreement allows you to continue your enrolment until you decide to stop • No re-enrolling each term, no more lining up at the swim school office or completing online payments • When making your initial booking you will pay for classes up till your next direct debit • Monthly payments will be taken for the upcoming 4 weeks, payments will be automatically taken from the bank account or credit card of your choice. • Cancellations of your booking(s) can be made with 4 weeks’ notice. • If you decide to cancel, you have already paid for your last 4 weeks in advance. • Your current enrollment can be held for up to 4 weeks, any longer and your spot in the squad will be forfeited (except under special circumstances).
When will direct debit start? All bookings that start from 22nd January 2024 will be Direct Debit payments.
How will I move over to the direct debit system? • We will require you to complete an Enrolment form and Direct Debit Agreement. You are required to sign the agreement to our updated terms and conditions for you to secure a place in our Perpetual term. When making your initial booking you will pay for you proceeding lessons up till the next direct debit.
How will direct debit work? Once you have completed your Direct Debit Agreement form. We will book you into your preferred day and time of lessons and pay pro rata for your lessons up to the next direct debit via Cash, Credit Card, AKV or SV. Your Direct Debit run is scheduled in line with when the next DD is scheduled. On your following Direct Debit date you will be charged for the proceeding 4 weeks from your nominated bank account or credit card provided.
How can I cancel my enrolments while on direct debit? All direct debits require 4 weeks’ notice prior to cancelling. Cancellations need to be completed in writing on the KICK Swim direct debit cancellation page.
What if I want a break on my direct debit, how can I hold my spot? You can request a break due to holidays, school camp, etc. Minimum time- 1 week; Maximum 4 weeks. You can hold your current lesson(s) for the maximum time period of 4 weeks. In order to hold your position. A maximum hold period for 4 weeks can be requested twice during a calendar year. Please note this does not include pool closure weeks, for example the two weeks over Christmas.
Can I stop my payments when my child is away at a swim competition? No, as the KICK coaches are there with your child and still getting paid by KICK, you are required to continue to pay your fees. If it is a competition that the KICK coaches do not attend you are welcome to put your account on hold as normal.
Can I choose my direct debit date? Unfortunately, Direct Debit dates cannot be chosen. There is only one day allocated for all participants across the swim school. All Direct Debit are deducted on the 10th of each month All dates are on the KICK Swim Centre Calendar which is available via the website.
Are there any extra fees when paying via direct debit? No, KICK Swim Centre has decided to not add any extra fees. The only exception is the dishonour fee which is $5.50.
What happens if my direct debit payment is rejected? If your Direct debit is rejected, a dishonour fee ($5.50) is charged, as per the T&Cs. Customers will be notified by SMS, phone call or email of the rejection which can then be paid over the phone or added to the account prior to the next Direct Debit run.
Will I pay an additional fee for using a credit card? No, KICK Swim Centre has decided to not add any extra fees. The only exception is the dishonour fee which is $5.50
Can I still claim Fair Play Vouchers? Yes, Fair Play vouchers will be accepted as part of the upfront payment and a credit will be applied. Only the outstanding amount will be debited from your account on the next direct debit run.
What if I have a credit on my swim school account will this rollover to the Direct Debit account? A valid credit will be rolled into your direct debit account when you re-enrol.
What if I don’t want to sign up for Direct Debit? You have the option of paying up front as long as your account remains current. Direct Debit is a compulsory payment method for those that are unable to keep their account up to date KICK Swim Centre.

How will you let me know if there are any changes to our lessons? We will always aim to have your most current information on our system, if anything changes please contact the office and let us know.
What happens if there is a pool closure? We will get in contact with you via the contact details you have provided to let you know of any cancellations. If the cancellation entitles you to a credit this will automatically be attached to your account.
What are the monthly direct debit dates? The 10th of each month
What does pro rata mean? We direct debit every 4 weeks, for lessons in advance. This means that if you sign up before a monthly direct debit occurs, you will need to cover the costs of the lessons from when you signed up, to the next direct debit date.
Holidays You will not be charged if the pool is shut down, for example over the Christmas break.
Sickness Accounts can be put on hold for extended sickness. Please email us on herveybay@kickswim.com.au When a medical exemption is required, this must be accompanied by a medical certificate.
