KICK Swim School endeavours to develop a high teaching standard of water safety, technical swimming and squad programs. We help children to develop the life skills of swimming and water safety while maintaining health and fitness. We also provide an opportunity to follow an Olympic pathway to the Fraser Coast Swim Club. Our award-winning centre focuses on maximum practice for maximum progression to ensure a high quality standard of swimming.
Non-School Aged Children and Aqua-Babes Classes: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday AM.
School-Aged Swimmer Classes: Every Weekday Afternoon and Saturday AM.
Age: 3 months – 6 months
Duration: 30 minutes
Class size: Maximum of 6 pupils with one instructor. Each pupil must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
An introduction to the water, this free class is available for 3–6-month-old bubs. With a focus on baby aquatic familiarisation and safety understanding. Parents will be educated about how inborn reflexes work and how they pertain to water along with preconditioning methods. We are fostering lifelong relationships with water for both parent and child.
Age: 6 months – 3.5 years old

Class size: Maximum of 8 pupils with one instructor. Each pupil must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Beginner children from 6 months-3.5 years old. A start to our ability-based program. Parent and child work together on water familiarisation and safety. This level includes submersions, back floats, breath control and movement through water with assistance.
Age: 6 months – 3.5 years old

Class size: Maximum of 8 pupils with one instructor. Each pupil must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Intermediate children that are well conditioned and comfortable in the water. We work toward confident children who can show ability to independently float on back and front with breath control, survival roll, move through the water, understand, and follow basic instruction with minimal assistance.
Age: 6 months – 3.5 years old
Duration: 30 minutes
Class size: Maximum of 5 pupils with one instructor. Each pupil must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Advanced children that will master a float on front with breath control, back float, survival roll, movement through the water to safety independently without assistance but following instruction directly from the teacher. (After graduating Starfish Gold child will go directly to Turtle Silver)

Beginner children from the age of 3 years old who have not participated in swimming lesson thus far. This is a foundation level for independent body position skills such as breath control, front floating, back floating, survival roll, movement through water to safety and taking instruction directly from a teacher.

Class size: Maximum 4 students
Intermediate children who are competent, safe, and independent in the water. This is the foundation level for kick propulsion. Skills such as front kick, back kick, extended breath control, streamline body position and an introduction to the feel of the water through sculling.

Advanced children who have established kick propulsion and can now coordinate extended breath control, propulsive kicking, and foundation arm action for both front and back. Including an introduction to breathing to the side and a streamlined torpedo. Dolphin kick is also introduced at this level.

Class size: Maximum 5 students
Swimmers will master coordination of arms and legs effectively and is the foundation of freestyle breathing and arm timing, backstroke arm timing. Includes increased sculling skills and extended breath control skills. Dolphin kick is being extended at this level.

The foundation of breathing and timing skills. Working on extension of distance swam with technical correction and enhancement for both Freestyle and Backstroke. Dolphin kick is also being extended and includes an introduction to a sitting dive.

Advanced level for swimmers to established Freestyle and Backstroke breathing action and timing correctly over a longer distance. Dolphin kick is now performed with breathing on every fourth kick, Breaststroke kick is introduced on the back. Sitting dives are being performed effectively.

Class size: Maximum 6 students
Here we will work on new stroke drills including skills development and the ability to swim longer distances in freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke. Butterfly includes new drills. All stroke turns are introduced and developed. Being able to read a pace clock is included.
Duration: 60 minutes
Class size: Maximum 10 students
Fitness focused squad for all swimmers that have shown competency in all levels. Will follow a coach provided program where swimmers are self-driven to perform, read time clock and whiteboard competently. Advanced skills and drills are included very session.
